According to the specifics, a 374 km long cycling track will be built in various Islamabad neighborhoods and sectors over the course of 18 months at a cost of Rs2.4 billion as part of the Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) Bicycle Lab Project (BLP).
In order to allow passengers departing the metro bus to also utilize the cycling track, it will be built on roads related to the Purple Line Metro Bus project, such as Khayaban Iqbal, Sector G-6, G-7, G-8, Green Double Lane, Jinnah Avenue, and Red Double Line.

In the same way, this initiative will connect every area of Islamabad with a bike track. In addition, 150 parking stands will be built as part of the Bicycle Lab Project (BLP) so that the public may utilize the resources, such as inexpensively rented bikes.
In addition, enough lighting, security, and other preparations would be implemented as part of the aforementioned project to better serve the inhabitants.
