Ten SPU officials and constables have been suspended by Additional Inspector General (AIG) Khadim Hussain for alleged corruption, and they have been ordered to report to B Company.

According to sources, the SPU officials and policemen were allegedly involved in corruption and misuse of authority, which prompted the authorities to launch an undercover departmental inquiry.

The officials who have been suspended are also charged with abusing the official cars that were allocated especially for the CPEC project.
